Pampered Pets Bundle - 2 Cute Card Ideas!

Rene has told me how much she loves her pets so I wasn't surprised when she ordered the super adorable Pampered Pets Bundle in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  When Rene sent me a photo of these two cards she made with her new bundle, I loved them so much that I had to ask her if I could share them with everyone.  She was generous enough to also give me the supplies list!

 

What I love about Rene's Pampered Pets cards:

• the torn strip of Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and its white exposed core (dog card)
• the twine wrapped several times around the focal panel and the way it draws the eye to the main image(dog card)
• the symmetry of the 3 circles (cat card)
• the blending of the watercolor pencils using Blender Pens (both cards) - using a Blender Pen to blend the watercolor pencils allowed Rene to give her cat and dog multiple shades without using water
