There has been a massive amount of Christmas stamping in Nicole's Stamping Cottage! It's all I've been making for weeks. And I love it! Christmas cards to mail out, gift card packaging for Santa to tuck into stockings, card boxes to gift card sets....paper scraps and bits and baubles cover my desk and floor.
I gathered up those scraps and bits and baubles, piled them on my desk in front of me, and said, "Nicole, you are not leaving until you use every last item!" I sounded so stern that I was afraid to disobey. So I made a stack of tags!
You'll notice all the punched pine trees. My Wrapped In Plaid paper is down to nothing, so I used the Pine Tree Punch to quickly make a stack in various patterns. Then I used the Wrapped In Plaid scraps in whatever size I had to create the tag bases (that's why they are different sizes and shapes).
Another thing I did was to pull out some older Stampin' Up! Sweater Trim (it's been years since we've carried it) because the spools were left with just a few inches and I wanted to them up, too. An excellent match to the Sweater Trim is the Real Red Curly Ribbon Trim.
I had a couple punched pine trees from the Let It Snow paper pack so I added them to a Pool Party cardstock tag. The snowflakes were stamped in Pool Party ink and are from the adorable Let It Snow stamp set. The itty bitty greeting is from - well - Itty Bitty Greetings!
This is one project you do not want to overthink. Let's get real - it's a tag. All they are is eye candy for gifts. Which is why tags are PERFECT for the project leftovers on your desk. Go crazy with them! Besides, they are so cute and fun to make! What can you make from what's on your desk right now?
The January - June 2020 Mini and 2020 Sale-A-Bration catalogs are being sent now to my current customers!
Thank you for choosing me as your demonstrator! Merry Christmas!
